What is THRIVE?

THRIVE is a platform used to reinvent and re-energize the standard employee performance review process. It encourages an environment that nurtures year-round dialogue about professional goals and development.


DEFINITIONS

CHAMPION: The person designated to help guide, provide resources, and advocate for an employee’s career growth and development. Could be a supervisor, manager, or another individual who’s familiar with the employee’s role and work.

PRINCIPAL CHAMPION: The person who will provide support and insight, advocate salary and bonus discussions, and represent progress and desires during career growth discussions.

BUDDY: The employee. Should ask for feedback, create goals for career growth, and share their progress and victories throughout the year. Also known as a partner.



TIME FRAME

OBJECTIVE: Champions should schedule check-ins at least 3 times a year with Partners plus touch-points throughout the year to identify learning opportunities, set career goals, and track an employee’s progress.

CHECK-INS: Semi-formal conversations about employee performance, career goals, and development between Partners and Champions.
